In Loving Memory of Deborah Lynn Anness Acker

Deborah Lynn Anness Acker, 75, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025. Born January 27, 1950, in Richmond, Virginia. She was the third of seven children to Charles and Louise Anness.

In 1959, the Anness family moved to Granbury, Texas, where Lynn attended school.

Lynn is survived by her loving husband, David Acker, her children, Heather Camp (Russell) Walker of Cleburne, Wesley Camp (Jamie) of Joshua, and Michael Dorrough (Carol) of Milton, Florida; and her stepchildren, Tammy (Jeff) Thornburg of Anna, Janet (William) Wright of White Settlement, and David Acker of San Francisco. She is also survived by her siblings Charles Anness and Kay Kidwell of Granbury, John Anness of New Braunfels, Bob Anness of Weatherford, and David Anness of Florence.

Grandchildren- Kyle Dorrough, Brady Camp, Austin Segler, Sheridan Walker, Abigail Camp, Emma Dorrough, and her step-grandchildren, Skyler and Destiny Wright, along with many nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by her first husband, Captain Jack Camp, U.S. Army of Tolar, who passed away in 1969. Her sister, Patricia Anness Plummer of State College, Pennsylvania and her parents Louise Clark and Charles Anness II.

Her life will be remembered by love and devotion to family, enduring friendships, boundless kindness, and generous spirit that touched everyone she met. Many of you are fortunate enough to experience her unforgettable cooking. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Wiley Funeral Home in Granbury.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, September 15, at 10 a.m. in Wiley Funeral Home Chapel of Granbury followed by a graveside service in Tolar Cemetery.

The family appreciates that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Lynn's

memory.
