Deborah Kay "Debbie" Alvey

Deborah Kay "Debbie" Alvey, age 55 of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly late Thursday evening, June 13, 2024 at her home. She was born July 25, 1968 in Hillsboro, the daughter of the late Jerry Dean and Judy (Devena) Leber. Debbie had worked as a teller at several local banks, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of twenty-four years, Del Alvey, whom she married on April 22, 2000 in Hillsboro. She is also survived by children Megan (Winn) Allan, Christopher Alvey, Alyssa Leber, Corey Schultz, Tyler Alvey and Kayla Alvey; eight grandchildren, Scar, Adair, Peyton, Ashton, Preston, Brixtyn, Walker and Beau; and a brother, Dean Leber. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday June 20, 2024 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro, where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery
