Deborah "Deb" Ann Batesel, 71, of Rogersville, MO passed away Friday, September 19, 2025. She was born October 3, 1953, to Bobby and Emma Batesel in West Plains, MO.

Deb graduated Gainesville High School in 1971 and received her Nursing Degree from St. John's School of Nursing in 1985. She worked as an RN on the orthopedic floor for a few years before becoming a Surgical OR Nurse, all at St. John's hospital, which later became Mercy Hospital. She continued employment there for 37 years. In her spare time, Deb enjoyed reading, gardening, singing and taking care of her animals. She also loved caring for and knitting blankets for her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Batesel and Emma Lou Hunt.

She is survived by her stepfather, Carl Hunt; two brothers, Randy Batesel and Danny Batesel; two daughters, Elizabeth (Jimmy) Geiger and Amy (Gregory) Freeman.; six grandchildren, Bryce Geiger, Brooke Geiger, Emily Sanders, Grace Freeman, Avery Freeman, and Evan Freeman; one great grandson, Elias Chan; her life partner, James Sanders; and many extended family and friends from the OR.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Midwest Cremation and Funeral Services of Springfield, MO.

So sorry for your loss may you look to Jesus for your healing..I remember Debbie at church and spent lots time at her home i was friends her Mother Emmalou. Stay close to Jesus .
