Deborah Blaise

Deborah L. Blaise 72, formerly of AuSable Street, Keeseville, died Monday, November 10, 2025, at the UVM Health Network, CVPH, Plattsburgh, with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Plattsburgh, on November 24, 1952, the daughter of Theodore and Jane (Garcia) LaBounty.
Throughout her life she worked at Sears, JCEO and Northern Orchard, for many years.
She enjoyed spending time reading and watching professional tennis.
Debbie adored her "babies", Ayla and Keegan Blaise and cherished every moment she spent with them.
Left to cherish the memory of Debbie are, one daughter and son-in-law, Trisha and Jamie (Bouissey) Blaise of Plattsburgh; daughter-in-law, Colleen Covino of Georgia; sisters, Jan Spooner of Keeseville, and Kerry LaBounty (and wife Marjorie Pierce) of Massachusetts; brothers, Steve LaBounty of Peru and Kirby LaBounty of Virginia; brother-in-law, Larry Blaise of Peru; grandchildren, Ayla and Keegan Blaise; and several nieces and nephews.
Debbie was predeceased by her husband, Danny Blaise; son, Christopher Blaise; sister, Sheila LaBounty; parents, Ted and Jane LaBounty; parents-in-law, Wilfred and Elva Blaise, and Pauline and Gerald Douglas; brother-in-law, Mark Spooner; and sister-in-law, Jan LaBounty.
Calling hours will be held Monday, November 17, 2025 from 11 to 1 pm at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 294 Mannix Road, Peru. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Keeseville.
In honor of Debbie's love of the color purple, if you're able, please wear some purple to her services.
