Deborah Lynn Burton

February 25, 1954 - November 5, 2025

Lynn, our dearest wife, sister, mom, nana, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully in both her sleep and the comfort of her loving husband's arms.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, to H. Clay and H. Edna Gorton. Lynn is survived by her brothers David (Roselyn) Gorton and Stephen (Connie) Gorton, her sisters Rebecca (Shane) Conley and the memory of Elizabeth Gorton.

Lynn was married to Roger Brown for 35 of her years on this earth during which time they had 5 children: Erin (Chris) Horne, Tara (Alex) Clarke, Keri (Troy) Petersen, Ryan Brown, and Casi Taylor. They share 17 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. After Roger's passing Lynn married her sweetheart Kent Burton who brought to her an additional 4 children and 17 grandchildren to love and adore as she did her own.

Lynn had an undeniable love and devotion to the gospel and her Heavenly Father, her family, and of course her sewing. Lynn with her ever-open arms, compassionate ear, loving smile, and quick wit will forever be deeply missed by all who had the chance to know her.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 14th at 10am, with a viewing prior from 9:00-9:45am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 220 West 2200 North, Tooele, Utah.

Dedication and Interment will be at 3pm at 1199 Madison Street, Afton, Wyoming.
