Deborah A. Cassady, age 66, of Pittsfield Twp., MI, passed away, June 2, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 25, 1958, in Wayne, MI, the daughter of Clarence & Elizabeth (Mullins) Cassady. Deborah was a graduate of Milan High School. She then went onto Jackson Community College where she earned her LPN certificate. Deborah then finished her career at Superior Woods Retirement Facility where she was able to fulfill her passion to help others. She had an incredible work ethic and was devoted to treating others with kindness and respect. She found her greatest joy in time spent with loved ones, especially days spent fishing where the quiet moments on the water meant everything. Deborah could also be found snuggled up watching her favorite Hallmark movies, where happy endings and heartwarming stories reminded her of the good in the world. She will be remembered for her warmth, her laughter, and the way she made everyone feel like family. Whether through her comforting presence or her smile, she touched the lives of all that knew her. She is survived by her children, Abigail (Joshua) Calamungi and Steven Youschuk; her grandchildren, Cassady Youschuk, William Calamungi and Isabella Calamungi; her mother; Elizabeth Cassady; and her siblings, Teresa Anderson and Pete (Jane) Cassady. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Cassady; and her sister, Charlotte Anderson-Mathis. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the Purse Funeral Home in Adrian, MI. www.PurseFuneralHome.com
