Mother Chapman was the matriarch of 5 generations and spent his time enjoying family gatherings, making new friends, watching Jimmy Swagger, Walker Texas Ranger, In the Heat of the Night and Gibbs NCIS. When you visited Mother Chapman, you'd find her in her room with the television on one of her favorite programs, studying her bible. Mother Chapman studied her
bible daily for hours, until her eyes begin to fail. Mother Chapman's love of Christ was evident to every one she encountered throughout her life. Mother Chapman was a prayer warrior and bible scholar who always encouraged others. Mother Chapman had a way of making everyone she met feel like family with her big heart and loving hugs. Mother Chapman took great pride in making her famous fruitcakes (that people enjoyed) or her famous poundcake for everyone during the Christmas season with love. One year she baked over 100 cakes to distribute to her church family and friends.
Mother Chapman loved God, which was her main conversation, no matter who she was speaking with. She was a wonderful example of someone who always let their light shine for Jesus. She loved hard, she prayed much and cooked (good food) often. Mother Chapman loved music, when she could no longer read and watch television, she sang all the time. In the last few months of life, she would sing to the top of her lungs throughout the day and night. Her favorite songs were "I love to Praise Him" and 'I Will Trust in the Lord" Mother Chapman has received her divine healing, and now she has gone on to be with the Lord. Mother Chapman lived her best life and was a wonderful example to others on how to do the same in Jesus' name.

To the Chapman family:
Mother Chapman has gone from labor to reward. We must all be thankful just to have known her. I bible studied in her home a while ago and just to be in her presence was a blessing, so full of wisdom. May God continue to hold the family close during this difficult time. God Bless
