DEBORAH G. (KRIEBEL) CHECHAK

Age 73, of Reserve Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 4, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Wayne M. Chechak Sr.; loving mother of Wayne (Trista) Chechak, Stephen (Elizabeth) Chechak, Kevin (Sarah) Chechak, Diana (Justin) Wright, Frank (Susan) Kurta, and the late Bryan Chechak (Charlotte Parker-surviving); dear grandmother of Bryan, Stephen Jr., Megan, Madison, Austin, Kaylee, Joshua, Alyssa, Alayna, Luka, Matthew, Mason, Braylen and Zerahiah; dear great-grandmother (Maw) of Kaliyah, Oaklee, Theodore, Colson and Mckinley; dear sister of Joseph (Helen) Kriebel and the late Marilynn (Ernest) Ziegenbalg, and Dianne (Raymond-surviving) Seelnacht; ex-mother in-law of Danielle Driscoll; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and anyone who walked through her door. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at the HUGHES FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1501 Lowrie Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-Troy Hill. A Blessing Service will be celebrated at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in Most Holy Name Church, 1520 Claim Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15212-Troy Hill. (Everyone please meet at the church). She will be laid to rest with her late husband Wayne and her son Bryan in St. Mary's Cemetery, 4000 Mt. Troy Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15214-Ross Twp. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Deborah was always ready for the next new adventure, she loved and could race a stick shift car better than anyone and was an avid animal lover. In lieu of flowers, her family respectfully requests donations be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237, or www.thingoutsidethecage.org.
