Deborah was born in Reading, on December 26, 1949, a daughter of the late Arlene (Kase) and Robert Frey.
She was the wife of John E. Connolly. They were married for 54 years.
Deborah graduated from Central Catholic in 1967, Kutztown University BA, and received a Masters from Millersville.
She was a teacher at Reading School District and Wilson School District, as a reading specialist.
In addition to her husband Deborah is survived by
a son, Brian Connolly;
Deborah is also survived by
a sister, Susan, wife of Ed Youst and a brother, Thomas, husband of Anita Frey.
She was predeceased by a brother James Frey.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, September 5th at Sanders Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., 1501 North 11th Street, Reading. Online condolences may be made at www.sandersfuneral.com.
Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
