Deborah Christine Cotter

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Christine Cotter (nee Kosmy) on July 25, 2022, at the age of 57. Debbie was born in Queens, New York on September 5th, 1964, to her loving parents, Michael and Josephine. After high school, she attended Fordham University and went on to become an esteemed accountant. Working at Citibank, she met Michael Cotter and eventually left that career to raise their seven children. She spent many happy years with her family in Massapequa Park on Long Island before moving to sunny St. Augustine. Debbie loved her children more than anything. She enjoyed adopting pets :), spending time at the beach, listening to country music, and most of all spending time with family. She was a devoted Catholic and will be known for her generosity, infectious laugh, and loving heart. She is survived by her seven beloved children: Kerri, Michael, Shannon, Erin, Ciara, Kaitlyn, and Ashley; sister Laura (Phil); God daughter Angela; and nieces and nephews: Matthew, Christine, CJ, Fiona, Patrick, Joseph, Jack, Mary, Kayla, John, Patricia, Stella, Emily, and Liam; and many dear cousins and extended family including those in Aruba. She is predeceased by her mother Josephine (Alma) Kosmy and her father, Michael Kosmy. Deborah is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Viewing and Vigil Service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022, at Craig's Funeral Home from 5 pm - 7 pm 1475 Old Dixie Highway St. Augustine, FL 32084 Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at Saint Anastasia Catholic Church at 9 am 5205 A1A South Saint Augustine, FL 32080 followed by a Burial Service at Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery at 11:30 am 4750 Palm Valley Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.
