Deborah Kay DeLong

Ms. Deborah K. DeLong, age 68, of Newark, Delaware passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at the Suites of Accentcare Hospice, Wilmington Hospital, Wilmington, Delaware.
Born in Bellaire, Ohio, she was the daughter of Alice I. (Baker) Trigg and Delbert C. Trigg. Deborah was one of four children. She attended Bellaire High School and later attended Belmont Tech for Nursing.
Prior to retirement, Deborah was a licensed practical nurse, having been employed in nursing facilities in West Virginia and Ohio.
She enjoyed and excelled at helping people. She found great joy in companionship and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her late parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Dorothy E. Palicka and her brother, Donald Trigg, Sr.
Deborah is survived by her children, a son, Chad, husband of Naomi DeLong; her daughter, Stacy Lucas; her six grandchildren, Shaylee, Bradyn, Nevada, Carter, Dahlia, and Raquel; and was expecting her first great-grandchild, just prior to her passing; her sister, Shirley, wife of Richard Marling; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services.
