Deborah L. "Debbie" Foley, 64, of Mooresville, passed away at Franciscan Health Indianapolis on October 15, 2025. She was born in Chicago on August 15, 1961, to the late Edgar and Mary (Clark) Marts. Debbie graduated from H.L. Richards High School in Oak Lawn, Illinois. She married Tom Foley on May 18, 1984, and he survives. Debbie was blessed as a stay-at-home mom to her two children.
Debbie was a longtime volunteer for Churches in Mission, working with LifePointe Community Church. She was a natural giver and always helped others. Debbie never met a stranger and had the best sense of humor. She loved crafting and especially enjoyed attending arts and crafts shows. She found peace in nature, working out, reading, and cooking. Above all, Debbie loved her family.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Tom Foley; children, Kathryn Kangas (Stephen) and Sean Foley; brothers, Thomas Marts (Tammy), David Marts (Jodi), and Danny Marts; sisters, Dottie Antonson (Cliff), Linda Ringl (Jerry), and Shari Stancu (Dorel); and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Debbie is preceded in death by her brother, Edgar Marts, Jr.
In honoring Debbie's wishes, her earthly remains will be cremated. Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville has been entrusted with her arrangements.
