Deborah Freund

Deborah L. "Debbie" Freund, 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Thursday, February 22nd, 2024. She was born in Oak Hill, West Virginia on August 23rd, 1955 to her parents Curtis and Aeretta (Stark) Church.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Jerry A. Freund; three children: Tasha Osborne (Corey) of Camby, Todd Freund (Dawn) of Camby, and Bryan Freund (Carrie) of Indianapolis; one brother, Michael Church (Tiffany) of Indianapolis; one sister, Cathy Garrigus (Billy) of Indianapolis; and five grandchildren: Cheyenne, Michael, Marshall, David, and Allison.
Debbie is preceded by her parents.
Debbie was a 1973 graduate of Manuel High School. She previously worked at Eli Lilly and Company for 35 years before going to work at Southport Middle School as a cashier in the cafeteria for 15 years. Even though she stayed busy with work, she had many hobbies on the side. She enjoyed going to casinos, participating in car shows with her 2017 Mustang Convertible, and playing with her puppies. Debbie was known to be outgoing, fun, and had a beautiful sense of humor.
Family and friends may show their love and support at 11 am on Monday, February 26th at West Newton Cemetery for a graveside service where Debbie will be laid to rest.
