Deborah Kay Gordon, 70, of Uhrichsville, Ohio, met her heavenly Father on March 14, 2025, at The Gables retirement home in Canton, Ohio. Born November 19, 1954 in Dennison, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Harold Ralph and Elva Victoria (Murray) Gordon.
Debbie is survived by her son, David (Beth) Garbrandt; beloved granddaughter, Emily Garbrandt; siblings, Diana (Fred) Lindsay, Daniel (Georgia) Gordon, Dennis (Lorraine) Gordon, Donna (Douglas, deceased) Seevers, and Doris (Paul) Arnold; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and many cousins with whom she was close.
A resident of Uhrichsville for most of her life, Debbie worked as a nurses' aide for many years at several local nursing homes before retiring from Consumer Support Services. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison. In her younger years, Debbie could be found at the bowling alley or out on the field playing softball, being an avid enjoyer of each sport. She also enjoyed camping and fishing. Most of all, Debbie enjoyed spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. She found immense joy and pride in babysitting her granddaughter, as well as the many nieces and nephews she had been blessed with over the years.
Father Jeff Coning will celebrate the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 20, at Immaculate Conception Church in Dennison. Interment will follow in Rush Church Cemetery near Uhrichsville. Family and friends are invited to call at the R. K. Lindsey Funeral Home in Dennison from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Those wishing to honor Debbie memory by a charitable contribution are encouraged to do so to Immaculate Conception Elementary in Dennison.
