Deborah Alice (Martin) Grabner, a resident of North Falmouth, Massachusetts died peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the White Oaks Cottages in Westwood. She was 85. Deborah was born January 19, 1940 in Springfield, Massachusetts, the daughter of Carl B. Martin Jr., and Mary Elizabeth (Wilkenson) Martin. She earned her bachelor's degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY and worked as a medical secretary for five years at St. Clare Hospital in Schenectady, NY. Deborah was a member of the DAR (the Daughters of the American Revolution) and a Guild member of HESAD (the Historical Society of Early American Decoration). She earned her Guild membership through the submission of painted decorative tinware and painted with the Old Colony Chapter of HESAD producing many forms of decorative art. She also was a long-time member of the Falmouth Garden Club and enjoyed a passion for plants and gardening.

Deborah was the wife of the late Robert O. Grabner and the sister of the late Carl B. Martin III. She is survived by her daughter, Kathie McDonough, and her husband Jack, of Canton; her two sons, Kurt Grabner, and his wife Laurie , of Norfolk, and Lee Grabner, and his wife Tammy, of New Milford, Connecticut; as well as her eight grandchildren, Matt, and his wife Michaela, Tim, John, Peter, Kate, Betsy, Kristen, and Emily.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 15 from 10 to 11 am at the Folsom Funeral Home, 649 High Street, Westwood followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11 am. Interment will be on Tuesday December 16. at 11:00 am in The North Falmouth Cemetery (located behind the North Falmouth Congregational Church at 155 Old Main Road in North Falmouth).. Flowers are welcomed at Folsom Funeral Home, or memorial gifts may be made to support her love of all things PBS.
