Michael J. Grabner, born February 10,1939, peacefully passed away on August 28, 2025 at his home in Neenah, WI, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

He was born in Oshkosh WI to the former Michael and Marcella Grabner. He graduated from UW Oshkosh, where he played basketball and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. On Aug 26, 1961, he married the love of his life, Rosemary A Kolosso and soon after, they began a family in Appleton, WI. Mike was employed by Pierce Manufacturing and held many management rolls until his retirement in 2001.

Mike enjoyed several hobbies including hunting, fishing, bowling, golf, jogging and card games. He especially loved watching his children and grandchildren participate in sporting events. He cheered them on and, by example, taught them to never give up, no matter what life brings. Another great joy was spending time with family and friends at the cottage in Phelps, WI on beautiful Lac Vieux Desert where all were awed by his ability to catch fish.

Mike is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosie who he loved more than life. He is the proud father of four children and their spouses: Michelle Grabner (Brad Killam), Tricia Hoffman (Tim), Michael Grabner and Patrick Grabner (Katie). His treasured grandchildren: Nicholas (Ashley), Peter (Laura), Heidi, Oliver (Abby), Michael (Michaela), Samuel (Paige), Ruby, Jian, Ceal, Ben, Bo and Greta. His cherished great-grandchildren Elosie and Frankie. His brother Ronald Grabner (Karla) and brother-in-law Gene Sauer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Marcela Grabner, and sister Kathy Sauer.

Please join us at a mass to celebrate Mike's wonderful life on Friday September 5, 2025, at St. Joseph's Parish, 404 W Lawrence St, Appleton, WI 54911. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 am, the service will be from 10:30-11:30, lunch to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.

We would like to thank the staff at Compassus Hospice for their loving and compassionate care and for making his wish to pass away at home a reality.
