Deborah Lewis Guy, resident of Spartanburg County, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the age of 69. She was born in on February 4, 1955, to the late Sybil Snow Lewis and Edward William Lewis, Jr. and was the widow of Robert E. Guy.

Deborah was a graduate of Dorman High School and went on to serve as the head accountant with Kohler for 46 years. She also serves as the Fire Commissioner for Arkwright Area Fire District. Her dedication and expertise left a lasting impact on all those she worked with.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Deborah was known for her incredibly big heart and unwavering love for her family. She adored her grandkids and would light up whenever they were around. Her family was truly the center of her world, and she lived each day to make sure they knew how cherished they were.

Deborah found joy in simple pleasures like cooking delicious meals, spending time at the beach, supporting the Alabama Crimson Tide, and racing cars. Her vibrant personality was shown in everything she did, bringing laughter and warmth to those fortunate enough to know her.

Deborah is survived by her sons, Robert Cory Guy (Heather) of Roebuck and Tanner Jerome "T.J." Guy of Spartanburg; brothers, Robert Michael Lewis (Sherry) of Wellford and William Hunter Lewis of Roebuck; sisters, Carol Moore (Darryl) of Spartanburg and Susan Lynn Carter of Spartanburg; grandchildren, Teegan Dominick Guy and Ryder Anakin Guy; best friends, Michelle Sanders and Donna Carter Simmons; aunt, Nancy Junkins of Boiling Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Xander Anakin Guy.

Visitation will be 2:30-3:30 PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Dunbar Funeral Home. Memorial services will follow at 4:00 PM, conducted by Rev. Jason McAbee.

The family is at the home of Heather and Cory Guy.
