Deborah A. Horton, a resident of Albany, passed away on September 12, 2025. She was 68 years old.

Deborah was born on June 20, 1957 in Beacon, the daughter of the late Levi Horton and Marion Sullivan. She was a nursing assistant various locations of the Veteran's Affairs, and served herself in the U.S Army from 1976 to 1977. She was a loving mother and grandmother who spent quality time with her family. She had an excellent sense of humor and loved to tell stories.

Deborah is survived by her loving daughters Sharee Horton and Patrice Sullivan; brother Robert Horton; sisters, Denise Johnson, Laura Johnson; grandchildren, Tavaya Clark, Dah'Shon Lee, Davion Bowser; and great grandson Josiah Bowser; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also survived by her best friend of over 25 years, Sharon Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters Linda Horton and Carmen Elaine Mercer, and her step-father Thomas Johnson.

Family and friends will gather on Friday, September 19 from 10 to 12 p.m. at Riverview Funeral Home by Halvey, 2 Beekman Street, Beacon. Burial with military honors will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
