Monroe Township- Deborah Ann Huston, 66, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, July 27, 2024, after battling cancer.
She was born on March 13, 1958, in Lewisville, Texas, the only child of Donald L. and Gladys (Poirier) Johnson.
Deborah was a faithful member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Fairview, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Monroe Sirens and worked tirelessly to promote their fundraisers and events. After retirement she enjoyed volunteering with the Conneaut Hospital Thrift Shop. Deborah cherished time spent with her family and was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the first grandson.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Michael L. Huston, whom she married June 21, 1986, at South Ridge Baptist Church; children, Leanne (Ryan) Fralic and Brian Huston; and her granddaughter, Sophia.
Deborah was preceded in death by both her parents.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00AM-12:00PM, Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Thompson-Smith-Nesbitt Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Conneaut, where a service will follow at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Kelloggsville Cemetery.

I got to know Debbie through her volunteer work at the Conneaut Hospital Thrift Shop. She was a wonderful woman who was always cheerful and smiling to everyone she encountered. She loved her family and church and she committed to 100% in everything she did. A tireless woman when making subs at the Monroe Fire Department or volunteering at the Thrift Shop. I will keep her family in my prayers at this time of loss.
