D eborah "Debbie" Sue Higgins Koss
November 3, 1951 – January 27, 2026

On January 27, 2026, Deborah "Debbie" Sue Higgins Koss transitioned at the age of 74. Debbie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Debbie was devoted to her family and found her greatest joy in time spent with her loved ones. She was a proud mother to her daughters, Bobbie Kimmeth (husband Craig) and Elizabeth Davis-Goodwyn. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlynn Blevins, Alexis Dudley, Austin Kimmeth, Trinity Blevins, and Jaxon Goodwyn, and her adored great-grandchildren, Mason Dudley and Paisley Lewis, who brought her immense happiness.

She is also lovingly remembered by extended family members Heather Koss and Rachel Koss, along with a devoted circle of family and friends whose lives she touched with her caring spirit and gentle strength.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth G. Davis, and her brothers, Robert Higgins and Dwayne Davis.

She was a graduate of Pembroke High School in Hampton, Virginia, and dedicated many years of service before retiring from Woolworth, where she was known for her strong work ethic and reliability.

Debbie's love, laughter, and unwavering support will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Though her passing was unexpected, the impact of her life is enduring, and her memory will continue to be a source of comfort, love, and inspiration.
