Deborah Laffitte Obituary
Deborah Joy Laffitte, 71, was born on December 1, 1951 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Arthur and Elizabeth Angel and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, June 1, 2023 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 located at 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, Louisiana 71118. Funeral services honoring the life of Deborah will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 located at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be Pastor Andy Goff. Interment will be held at Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
Deborah was an avid crafter and loved her Red Hat Society family. She was a daughter of the Lord in every sense and loved her church family. She loved her family above all else.
Deborah is preceded in death by her parents; grandsons, Hayden Fontenot and Daniel Balentine; and brother, Arthur Angel, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Bobby Laffitte; daughters, Elizabeth Southerland and her husband, Don of Bossier City, Louisiana and Bobbie Jo Laffitte and life companion, Marcus Guilbeau of Scott, Louisiana; and son, Michael Beahm of Shreveport, Louisiana; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Brian Angel and nieces, Rachel Angel and Ashley Angel.
Honoring Deborah as pallbearers will be Gavin Fontenot, Don Southerland, Marcus Guilbeau, Donnie Dunn, Aidan Southerland, and Larry Blair.
