Deborah A. Lyons

Deborah A. Lyons, 71, formerly of Hastings-on-Hudson and current resident of the town of Beekman, died peacefully on January 8, 2026, at MidHudson Regional Hospital.

Born in Yonkers on November 5, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Byble) Fedak. Deborah worked for Scarsdale Oral Surgery until her retirement. Deborah cherished time spent with her family. She found great joy in their annual trips to Aruba, holiday gatherings, backyard barbecues, and traveling throughout the tri-state area to watch her grandchildren take part in their activities.

On May 10, 1974, at St. Anthony's Church in Yonkers, Deborah married the love of her life, Michael T. Lyons. She is also survived by her sons and their wives, Michael and Dawn Lyons, David and Johanny Lyons, Scott and Sara Lyons; her grandchildren, Victoria, Tyler, Allie, Maddie, Mason and Jackson; her sister, Bernadette Cusack; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Christine Comerford.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 13, from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10am at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
