Obituary of Deborah M. Martin
Deborah Marie Martin, 63, of Clifton Park, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she is the daughter of the late George and Dolores M. Lovendusky Martin, Jr. and was a graduate of Warwick Valley High School in Warwick, NY, Class of 1979 and Oakland Community College, Orchard Ridge Campus in Farmington Hills, MI, where she received her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts in 1982. After graduating, she relocated to Hollywood, California during the 1980's and eventually made her way back to New York for the start of the 1990's.
She had a lifelong love for cats, Chloe being her most recent companion. She was an avid collector with a love for Classic Dr. Who, Star-Trek, Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings. She could often be found relaxing building Legos and listening to audio books.
Debi had a passion for music, some of her favorite artists include Joan Jett, Kiss and Zakk Wylde, among various others.
She is survived by her son Jesse Aron Jett Foster, his partner Meagan Hoffman, her brother Christopher Martin and her niece Alexia M. Martin, as well as several cousins.
She is predeceased by her brother George "Michael" Martin.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Saturday morning, April 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 569 Clifton Park Center Road, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
There are no public calling hours.
The family desires that memorial contributions be made to Toys for Tots or Meals on Wheels, in memory of Deborah M. Martin.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 RT-9, Clifton Park, NY 12065
