Deborah McClung McFall, age 70, of Hiram, Georgia, peacefully passed away on September 11, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Deborah, a beloved and kind-hearted soul, entered this world in Marietta, Georgia on July 1, 1954, the daughter of the late Rufus Eugene McClung and the late Betty Lee Gamblin McClung. Throughout her life, she exuded warmth and generosity, never hesitating to offer a helping hand to those around her. Her infectious spirit touched the lives of many, making her a cherished mama and nana to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Deborah worked in the registrar's office at Chattahoochee Technical College until her retirement.
With a passion for fishing and a love for shopping, Deborah found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her eyes would light up when shopping for her grand babies, always eager to spoil them with gifts and affection. Among her cherished possessions were her collections of angels and lighthouses, symbolizing her strong faith and guiding light.
A devotee of Christian music and a faithful follower of her Lord, Deborah found solace and inspiration in the melodies that uplifted her soul. Her unwavering faith was a source of strength and comfort in times of joy and sorrow alike.
In addition to her parents, Deborah was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Joe "D.J." McFall; her grandson, Cameron Cook, and her brother, Jack McClung.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Stacey (Shane) Cook, Lisa (Shan) Cook, and Amber (Robby) Cash, who will forever carry on her memory with love and pride. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael (Becky) McClung, Andy (Laura) McClung and Sharon McClung; her grandchildren: Justin (Courtney) Cook, Caitlyn (Austin) Butler, Chandler Cook, Casey (Lexi) Cook, and Jayden McFall; her great grand children: Hartley Butler, Oaklynn Butler, Alayna Butler, Rylie Cook, Carly Smith, Kenzie Smith, and Millie Cook; several nieces and nephews.
