Deborah McKinsey, 65, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous health battle.

Born on July 6, 1960, in Westminster, Maryland, Deborah was the beloved daughter of Donald Shuffler and Patricia Shuffler. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald.

Deborah was a 1978 graduate of Westminster High School.

Deb is survived by her devoted husband, Tony McKinsey of Hanover, and her cherished daughter, Amanda Stultz of Littlestown. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Abigail and Logan Forbes, who were truly the light of her life.

She is also survived by her brother, Robert Shuffler of Hanover; nieces Ashley Shuffler and great-nephew Shepherd; and Jerica Garrish and husband Jason, along with their daughter, Deb's great-niece Karsyn, all of Westminster.

Deb's love extended well beyond immediate family. She is survived by her "other children": Jodi Cohen and husband Justin of Littlestown, Melissa Shank and husband Brian of Hanover, and Kayla Faloon and husband Justin of Littlestown. Her "extra grandchildren" - Kaysen and Kamden Cohen, and Autumn, Elzie, and Carson Shank - were deeply loved and held a special place in her Grammy sized heart.

An avid bowler, Deb spent many evenings at the lanes with her best friend and cousin, Tammy Keller, enjoying the game she loved. She found immense joy in attending her grandchildren's events and spending quiet moments with her loyal companion, Maddie, her dog of 10 years.

A service to celebrate Deb's life will be held at Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services at 254 E. Main St., Westminster, Maryland. A visitation time will be held Wednesday August 6, 2025 from 6-8pm, and Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 10-11am with the service immediately following.

Deb will be remembered for her strength, her compassion, and the unconditional love she gave to her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
