Joann McKinsey Obituary
She was born September 22, 1938 in York. The daughter of the late Paul and Viola (Keeney) Hartman.
Joann was self-employed having her own Janitorial Business.
The services will be Saturday October 11, 2025 at 2 PM at Red Lion Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness 395 Boxwood Rd. Red Lion, PA 17356.
Joann is survived by a son Jeffrey McKinsey, wife Linda of Dallastown, a daughter Pamela Taylor husband Spike of Dallastown, Joann had a deep love for her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren: grandchildren Jason McKinsey wife Angi, Andrew McKinsey wife Jen, great grandchildren Brook Baldwin, Ashley Baldwin, Brendyn McKinsey wife Diane, Alexandra Bologa husband Ryan, Andrew Anderson, Alexander McKinsey, four great-great grandchildren Lynn Pitts, Grayson Mayfield, Emma Mayfield and Avery Bologa. Also surviving are her two sisters, Bernice Gladfelter of Dover and Judy Jenkins of Norristown, PA.
In addition to all those mentioned above, she had a large spiritual family among the congregations of Jehovah's Witness in the York area. Joann was known for her exceptional kindness and interest in those she met. She dedicated her life to sharing her faith with others. The promise of endless life on a paradise Earth was firm in her heart.
The John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave. York is assisting with cremation arrangements.

Met Joann via family while in the Red Lion Congregation way back in 1978. She was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. She will definitely be missed because so many loved her. Mrs. Bryan T. Mundy
