Deborah G. "Auntie G" Miller

Deborah Gloria Miller, lovingly known as "G" or "Auntie G," was born on February 8, 1938, in Manchester, Jamaica, to Clarence Williams and Wilhelmina "Zada" Powell. She was the Eleventh child of twelve children.
She was educated at Robins Hall Primary School in Manchester. In her early years, she moved to Kingston, where she lived first with her sister Evelyn, and later with Lucille. She worked for approximately 20 years as a presser at Jamaica Outerwear Manufacturing Company before migrating to the United States. During this time, she met her soulmate, Hubert Miller, whom she later married after relocating.
Upon her arrival in the U.S., Deborah worked as a home attendant, later joining the staff at Woodcrest Center as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) for two years. She eventually accepted a position at Preakness Health Care Center, where she remained until her retirement.
Deborah was a devoted and nurturing mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a beloved sister, aunt, and loyal friend to many. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
On Thursday August 14, 2025, Deborah departed this life.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Ralph, Harry, Frank, Oscar, Hughriah, and Sterling, and four sisters, Josephine, Evelyn, Adelsa, and Naomi, and grandson; Cushi Findlay, great grandson; Mason Damon,
She is survived by her husband; Hubert Miller, her children: Diana Morris, Michael R. Coleman, Windsor K. Coleman Jr., and Paula Richie, sister; Blanch Lucille, stepchildren; Raymond Miller and Tameka Brown, eleven grandchildren; Jermaine Miller, Latoya Findlay, Garth Morris, Jessica Richards, Jennifer Charles, Michael G. Coleman Jr., Windsor Coleman III, Brandon Coleman, Nicolas Furze, and David Damon, fifteen great-grandchildren; Tristan Richards, Ava Richards, Gabrielle Richards, Ariah Charles, Justin Miller, Jahari Miller, Nae'qwon Morris, Isaac Morris, Zaniyah Furze, Zaiden Furze, Na-Zareah Gilliam, Madisen Damon, Amir Damon, and Zarilyn Denise Wailing Lum Colema, five step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews, other relatives, and friends.
Deborah Gloria Miller's life was one of kindness, love, resilience, and faith. Her legacy lives on through her family and the many lives she touched.
