Deborah Faye Mullins, age 62, passed away May 1, 2024 at her home. Deborah was born April 14, 1962 in Iaeger, WV to the late John and Lillian Mounts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Mullins; sisters, Phyllis Hicks, Kathy Earp, Gail Martin, Nancy Mounts and brothers, Gene Mounts, Danny Mounts, Eddy Mounts, and Bobby Mounts.
Deborah attended Iaeger High School where she enjoyed playing basketball and softball. She really liked going on walks and going fishing. Her other hobbies included reading, sewing, and shopping. She was a member of Indian Creek Old Regular Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters, Amanda Mullins, Stephanie Perkins, Laura Mullins; grandchildren, Dalton Laws, Jaida Perkins, Destinee “LaRae” Allen, Tracy “Levi” Mullins; one great grandchild on the way; brothers, Thurman Mounts, Billy Mounts, Roger Mounts, Matthew Mounts; special friend, Brenda Blankenship; beloved dog, Skylar; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. The graveside service and burial will follow the funeral at Shady Valley Memorial Gardens.
