Deborah Ann Patterson

Deborah Ann Andrews Patterson, age 74 of Ball Ground passed away on January 9, 2026.

She was born on June 10, 1951, to the late E.C. "Sickum" and Iva Andrews.

Deborah was a graduate of Pickens Technical College and assisted her family for many years in operating The Sequoia Restaurant. She raised two children, John and Julie, and always worked hard to provide the best for them. Deborah was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to many that affectionately called her "Nana".

Deborah was incredibly strong and fierce, yet compassionate and giving. She selflessly cared for others, offering a helping hand or word of encouragement whenever it was needed. She was steadfast in her faith and always held fast to the hope that her help came from above. Loyal to her family and loved ones, she prayed for them faithfully.

She is preceded in death by her parents E.C. "Sickum" and Iva, and her brother-in-law, Harvey Satterfield.

Survivors include her son, John (Brandy) Patterson, daughter, Julie (Trent) Green; grandchildren, Chassidy (Chris) Patterson Barnes, Tucker (Kayla) Green, Payton (Slade) Green, Mackenzie Bozeman, and Kylee Bozeman; great-grandchildren, Paisley Wilson, Cason Patterson, and Hoyt Hillhouse; brother, David (Janice) Andrews; sister, Dianne Satterfield as well as nieces, Amy Van Dusen and Valli Satterfield and a nephew, Jamie Satterfield.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel with Rev. Randy Weaver and Rev. Thomas Wheeler officiating. Music will be provided by Deborah Watson and church friends. A private interment will take place at a later date in the Ball Ground Community Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 13 from Noon until the funeral hour.
