She fought a good fight and finished her course on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 8:02am Deborah O'Neal Randolph was born on December 14,1942 to the late Velma and Berner O'Neal in Yatesville, Georgia. At an early age the family relocated to Jacksonville, Florida where she attended local schools graduating from New Stanton Sr. High C/O 1960. She also attended Edwards Waters College.
In December of 1961, Deborah married Oscar Randolph Jr. from then going forward she lived the best years of her life. She was employed by Gulf Life Insurance where she was one of the First Black Employees with the company with 25 years of service before retirement. She was a dedicated and faithful member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church.
On holidays especially Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays their house was the place to be, you talking about some good eating "Pop would say Debbie I'm ready to eat, I haven't ate since yesterday". Good times we had and have a lot of memories to forever cherish. She was one of a kind in her own Unique way.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Randolph, Jr.; her mother and father, Velma and Berner O'Neal; and siblings, Edward O'Neal, Bentley O'Neal and Carolyn O'Neal Thompson.
Deborah leaves to cherish her memories, a loving son, Tony L. Randolph (Valerie); her grandson Tony Randolph, II (Katina); her granddaughters, Angel Randolph, Latoya Twiggs, and Tierra D. Randolph; a host of great grandchildren; her sister, Gloria Crosby; along with a host of beautiful nieces among them Terri L. Kellem (Barry), nephews, loving cousins, sisters-in-law, extended family, dearest friends, neighbors and her loving and dedicated care giver, Claudine Bryant. Deborah will be missed by her family and friends here on earth.
