Deborah Lynn Rasmussen

On the afternoon of December 3rd it was time. Time for loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend Deborah Rasmussen to head off to the perfect country house in Heaven. Born July 10 of 61 in Georgia to Douglas, a striking Airman, and his glorious German bride Peg. With her 2 sisters by her side, Donna and Darlene, thick as thieves the adventure of life set off. Living it to the fullest and experiencing all it had to offer. Jumping into life with all that she was she made her own waves. Being the youngest of three daughters in a military family, she was born to be a strong willed and an all in type of woman. Whether it be singing honky-tonk in Papas band or learning how to conquer the kitchen from the heart, they were all building blocks and what would become an unforgettable woman. Throughout this adventure she loved and she lost and loved again bringing three children into this world: Shari, Danielle and Jay, to share her life and eventually grow strong and build lives of their own. Instilling in them her love for art, life, family, and rock'n'roll. Always reminding them to love and take care of each other. She is survived by them. She was remarkable. With her long painted nails and bleach blond hair she was always kissed by the sun. Barefoot and fun forever. And she left this earth the same way she came in, cradled by those that love her the most. Miss you forever Mama..
