Deborah Larinda Robinson, 67, of Paris Kentucky went home on January 16, 2025. Debbie was born on May 14, 1957 to Wilma and Isadore Robinson. She was the oldest of their four children. She also had two half sisters and a half brother. She was preceded in death by her parents (Isadore and Wilma Robinson) and her half brother (Rorick Haynes).
If you ask anyone about Debbie, they will tell you how caring and supportive she was. She was like a sister to her best friends and they considered her part of their family. She was always there when you needed someone. Debbie was an amazing friend, sister, aunt, and daughter.
Her love for animals is what most people think of when they think of Debbie. She was always rescuing one animal or another. Debbie graduated from Tuskegee University in Alabama with a degree in Animal Science. She then worked as a Laboratory Technician at the University of Kentucky where she enjoyed working with and caring for horses. Debbie also had a passion for dogs and an extensive knowledge of their breeds and characteristics. Her dogs were her family. The depth of her love and sense of loyalty to them was unconditional.
Even though Debbie valued her private time, she was always there to talk and connect with her friends and family. Debbie had the most amazing sense of humor. Somehow everything was funny with her. Debbie was an avid reader who could often be found reading into the wee hours of the night. She enjoyed spending the day on the river fishing, catching hellgrammites, drifting past our family camps, and spending time with family. Debbie could often be found camping, horseback riding, and going to flea markets and yard sales looking for antiques.
Debbie is survived by her half sisters, Donna Johnson, Capital Heights, MD; Jackie (Russell) Boozer, Capital Heights, MD; Renee Robinson, St. Louis Park, MN; Phyllis (Ronald) Hawkins, Navarre, FL; Cindy (Danny) Robinson Gantt, Moreno Valley, CA; as well as four nephews, four nieces, and two grandnephews. Debbie's ashes will be sprinkled this summer in the Greenbrier River in West Virginia. This was one of Debbie's favorite places where she spent summers running, playing, and laughing with her family.

Deborah was my best friend! We would go on adventures during our lunch hour on errands and share parking space, when she was ready to leave for the day, I would get my car and we would change spot. I believed that we angered a few people! Ah Debbie, I am going to miss you so much... from your forever friend, Doris
