Deborah Thomas Sawyer

Deborah Thomas Sawyer, age 67, of Swainsboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2026.

Deborah was born in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Joe Thomas and the late Doris Hosford. She lived most of her life in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Berkmar High School with the Class of 1976. Deborah enjoyed reading and had a special love for animals and pets.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply. Deborah is survived by her daughter, Shelby Sawyer (30); her grandson, Grayson (3); her brother, Michael Thomas; and the father of her children, Michael Sawyer (70). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Courtney Sawyer.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
