Debbie ascended from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 as the last grain of sand in her hourglass slipped through the vacuum of time dispersing among the thousands of other grains that represented her time here on earth.

I first met Debbie on Halloween night in 1971 and at last my love had come along. My lonely days were over and life was like a song. Here’s to “the days of wine and roses” my darling wife! Debbie was born on November 5th , 1953 the youngest child of Thomas Harrington Tutcher and Nora Mae Griffin Tutcher. Debbie grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas. She graduated from S.H. Rider High School in 1972. That same year she married the love of her life, Stephen Sibley, who she referred to as her rock. Debbie and Stephen moved to Austin in 1973 after he was accepted to Pharmacy School at the University of Texas at Austin. In 1975, they moved to Fort Worth where Stephen was employed. Debbie obtained her bachelor's and Masters degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Arlington. She worked as a field probation officer in Tarrant County for 13 years and then as a LMSW for various healthcare systems for the remainder of her career. Debbie’s photography hobby filled several family albums. In the past few years, she had become interested in wildlife photography and hunting and regularly traveled with Stephen to their Falls County farm. She also loved to travel, go shopping, eating out and spending time with her two sons. Debbie was a member of the Ridglea United Methodist Church. Debbie is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Stephen and sons Stuart and Andrew, her brother, Thomas Tutcher Jr. and sister Janice Stokes, cousin Beverly Lamb, Sister in law ,Sylvia Middlebrook and several nieces and nephews. The family suggest memorials to Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County or Presbyterian Night Shelter of Tarrant County.

Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud, Texas. Rev. Don Fulton will officiate. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud.
