Deborah Spatafore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Faust Funeral Home, Inc. - Hulmeville on Mar. 20, 2026.
Deborah S. "Debbie" Spatafore, of Bensalem, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with lung disease and complications following a lung transplant. She was 66 years old.

Born in Pittsburgh on June 3, 1959, to the late Irving and Bernice Joseph, Debbie was a proud graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School. She spent many dedicated years working as an Accounts Specialist for Jones of New York in Bristol, PA, later continuing her career with Burlington Coat Factory until her retirement.

Debbie was a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan and a devoted supporter of dog rescue organizations. She volunteered often at the Women's Humane Society on Richlieu Road in Bensalem, where her gentle heart and love for animals were always evident. Grounded in her faith, she was a longtime member of St. Ephrem's Church.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by her brothers, Jeffrey Joseph and Mitchell Joseph. As well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marlene and Charles Spatafore, Sr. and brother-in-law Charles Spatafore, Jr. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 47 years, Gary C. Spatafore, and their children, Daniel and Marisa Spatafore. She was endlessly proud of her grandchildren, Leo and Christian Spatafore, who were the lights of her life. Debbie also leaves behind her cherished dog, Pepper.

She is lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Denise Joseph, Natalie Bohan and her husband Tom, and Geri Spatafore and her late husband Doug Spatafore, as well as Diane Feliciani and her husband Gene. Debbie's memory will also be held close by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and numerous lifelong friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at St. Ephrem's Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, from 10:00 AM until the celebration of Debbie's Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
