Deborah J. Steinel, age 62, passed away Monday, September 1, 2014.
She was born in Akron on March 23, 1952 and lived in Randolph, Ohio. Debbie graduated from Waterloo High School and was a full-time wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Ohio High School Athletic Association, and OGSO. Debbie enjoyed umpiring baseball and softball, and especially spending time with her granddaughters.
Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Violet Wright; brother, David; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George Steinel Sr. and Elsie Steinel; brother-in-law, Billie Moore. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, George Steinel Jr.; son, Dean (Sarah) Steinel; daughter, Cindy (Michael) Santoro; granddaughters, Marianne and Cassandra; brother-in-law, Kenneth (Chari) Steinel; sisters, Margie Moore, Margaret (Ed) Fites; and sister-in-law, Donna Sapp.
The family will receive friends 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 34 S. Cleveland Avenue (Route 532), MOGADORE, Ohio 44260. Graveside services and burial Friday 1 p.m. at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. The family suggests memorials to Robinson Hospice or the Wounded Warriors.
