Clayton Patrick Jacobs, 21, passed away unexpectedly, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. He was born in Akron on January 31, 2004. Clayton was a 2022 graduate of Waterloo High School where he was a member of the band and soccer team. He worked with the band even after graduation. Clayton attended Ohio State University Wooster Campus and Stark State College.
He spent time working at Lowes in Alliance, Heritage Trucking and bROK Products. Clayton was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, golf and playing soccer. He was a car enthusiast and an Eagle Scout. He had a strong faith and was a member of the Atwater United Methodist Church. He was recently pursuing his faith on-line, with friends, girlfriend and co-workers. Clayton will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lyndon Jacobs and Ronald Webb.
Clayton is survived by his parents, Norman and Nichole Jacobs; his brother James Jacobs; grandmothers, Linda Webb and Doris Jacobs; multiple aunts, uncles and cousins; and his girlfriend Mikayla Robinson.
Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2026 from 1:00-5:00PM at the Atwater United Methodist Church, 6380 Waterloo Rd. Atwater, OH 44201. A memorial service will follow on Friday at 5:00PM at the church with the Rev. Tina Gallagher officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that you simply plant a tree to honor his memory and his love for the outdoors.
