Deborah Cathleen Stephens, known to most as Debbie, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on February 11, 2026, at the age of 57. She was born on September 12, 1968, in DeKalb County, to Bill and Patricia Stephens. A loving wife, mother, daughter and sister, Debbie will be remembered for her generous spirit and love for animals, particularly cats.
Before her health no longer allowed her to work, Debbie had a diverse career, contributing her skills to a variety of companies, including Mathis Dairy, American Greetings & PetSmart.
She was deeply committed to her faith and actively participated in the life of her churches. She held affiliations with the First Baptist Church of Conyers, Milstead Baptist Church, and most recently, Glen Haven Baptist Church in McDonough. With a kind, generous spirit, Debbie served the communities she found herself in through Vacation Bible Schools, Community Block Parties, Fall Festivals, Back to School Giveaways, and local church and ministry events. She loved people, especially children, volunteering, serving, and giving to those in need as much as possible. Through her involvement with One Heart Ministries in Conyers, she met her husband, Mark Mosier, whom she served alongside in sharing the gospel and bringing the unsaved to Christ.
In addition to her husband and parents, Debbie is survived by her daughter, Caroline Faith Stephens; her sister and brother-in-law, Pamela and Jamie Reed, along with their children, Brianna and Jacob; extended family and friends.
Celebration of Life service details will be announced at a later date.
