Deborah "Debbie" Marie Strickland, 69, of Osborn, MO, passed away March 1, 2026. She was born March 10, 1956 to Jesse Charles and Delores Marie (Powell) Bourland in Bay City, MI.

Debbie was a homemaker. She received a heart transplant from the UCLA Medical Center 24 years ago that gave her a second chance at life.

Debbie loved to sing 50's music, Temptations, Supremes, Big Bopper, Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and Wayne Watson. She also loved to dance and entertain. Her husband Terry was the love of her life and brought her true joy. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids and her dog.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse; 2 brothers, Roger and Mark Bourland; husband, Terry Strickland.

Debbie is survived by son, Michael Willard, Osborn, MO; step daughter, Nikki Baldwin; 10 grandchildren, Meghan, Jessica, Cynthia, Michael, Kody, Ryan, Tori, Kyla, Christopher, Dylan, Tyler; mother, Delores Nicholson, Winters, CA; 2 brothers, Pete Bourland, Winters, CA, Dennis Bourland, Bethany, MO; 3 sisters, Sharon Grace, Kannapolis, NC, Nancy Torok, Amarillo, TX, Cindy Waters, Hesperia, CA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may made to Poland-Thompson to help with funeral expenses.

Services will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Poland-Thompson Chapel. Visitation, 1:00-2:00 PM, prior to the service. Inurnment at a later date at Riverside Veterans Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
