Mrs. Deborah Lynn Surrency was born on July 16, 1966 in Gainesville Florida to Willie Jean Hooker and Connie Williams. She attended North Marion High School and graduated from Oral Roberts University and University of Phoenix.
Mrs. Surrency was a great mother, a loving grandmother and wife. In 2018 she met Gerry Surrency, on
October 14, 2019 Gerry and Deborah were united in holy matrimony.
She was employed as a Traveling Registered Nurse for 19 years of service. She was an active member of Right Word Church, INC where she served as a faithful member. She was also involved in several ministries, The Bible Study Leader, Women's Fellowship, Evangelist Ministry Facilitator of Teen Fellowship and Intercessory Prayer Warrior.
She was well known in her community for her ability to pray and having an open heart and her gift of servitude. If there was a need she wanted to provide through charitable outreach. Those who knew her knew she was a friend in need and she loved her girls.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Frances Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Gerry Lee Surrency; daughters, Tracy Daniels (Levester), Joanna Smith (Marqintae), Andrea Singleton, Ashlee Evans (Cedrick); grandchildren, Joshua Mitchell, Jalynn Daniels, Courtney and Mariah Singleton, Mekhi Roberts, Cannon and Cammrin Evans; her mother, Connie Williams; mother-in-law, Annette Surrency; sisters, Leslie Hooker-Jones, Cynthia Harris, Aquanette D. Hooker Williams and Tracey Slappy; brothers, Eric Bradley, William Hooker and Williams Epps.
