Deborah Uhl Obituary
Debe was born June 26, 1951, to Kenneth and Margaret Harmon Corbet. She was a 1969 graduate of Washburn Rural High School and attended Washburn University. On September 6, 1974, Debe and Howard Uhl were united in marriage enjoying almost 50 years together.
Debe's career was dedicated to serving the mental health community at the Menninger Clinic and at Family Service and Guidance.
Debe was a wonderful person, wife and mother. If you knew her, you knew. She will be dearly missed.
Grateful to have shared Debe's life are her devoted husband, Howard Uhl; and loving children, Lesley Uhl and Ryan Uhl. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Family will greet friends Thursday, September 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, at Mother Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital sent in care of the funeral home.
