Deborah A. Uhl, 76, of Bethlehem died on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospice House. She was born on December 29, 1949, in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Gustave J. and Margaret E. (Hanus) Uhl.
Deborah was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and later earned her bachelor's degree from Fordham University. For over 40 years, Deborah loved serving as an elementary school teacher within the Allentown Diocese. She mainly taught at St. Ursula School but later worked at other diocesan schools.
She will be dearly missed by her brother, Mark J. Uhl and his wife, Janine, as well several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Uhl, and brother, Richard Uhl.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, 2 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Private interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, where Deborah will be laid to rest with family that has gone before her.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 417 Carlton Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18015.
