Hugh Michael McFadden

Hugh Michael McFadden, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospice House in Bethlehem, PA. He was born in Bethlehem on June 22, 1958, to the late Raymond Francis McFadden and Mavis Martha (Jones) McFadden. Hugh's life was a testament to the strength of family, the joy of the outdoors, and the value of hard work.

Hugh's journey began in the same town where his story would lovingly conclude. He was a proud graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and later went on to earn a degree in Business from Lehigh County Community College. His education laid the foundation for a successful career. Hugh dedicated many years to Victaulic, where he was respected as a supervisor. Upon retirement, he continued to serve his community as a delivery driver for St. Luke's Hospital, a role he performed with joy and dedication.

Hugh's life was one of active engagement with the world around him. His passion for fishing, particularly surf fishing and crabbing, was more than a hobby; it was a way of connecting with nature and the quiet strength of the sea. Hunting was another pursuit that allowed Hugh to embrace the serenity of the outdoors.

SURVIVORS: Hugh is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Diane Marie (Bokosky) McFadden. Their children, Ashley Agentis and her spouse Joshua of Allentown, and Andrew McFadden with his fiancé, Lindsay Rittenhouse of Walnutport, were Hugh's pride and joy. His brothers, Raymond McFadden, Jr. and Patrick McFadden, will remember Hugh for his unwavering support and brotherly love. The light of his life shone brightly on his grandchildren, Raegan Deibert and Greyson McFadden, who will carry his legacy forward. Maddie, the family dog, was a constant companion and brought him immeasurable happiness.

SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held at 12 P.M. on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Cantelmi Funeral Home, 1311 Broadway, Fountain Hill, PA 18015, where family will receive relatives and friends from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
