Deborah Utley, 57, of Loris, SC passed away on August 27, 2024 at McLeod Seacoast following an illness.
Deborah was born in Georgetown, SC to the late Vernon R. Watts and Lois C. Watts.
Deborah worked as a nurse for over 30 years. She truly enjoyed caring for her patients and ensuring they received the best care possible. She enjoyed spending her Saturdays and Sundays in the fall watching football, especially the Clemson Tigers. Her summers were spent on the beach and taking her grandkids to Disney World.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Clifford Utley; daughter, Heather (Stewart) of Loris; sister, Kimberly Strange; nieces, Felicia Watts, and Tiffany Strange, all of Socastee, SC; niece, Oliva May of Gastonia, NC; two grandsons, Colton, and Cooper Lewis, of Loris, SC, and great nieces and nephews, Kaydence Jones Of Socastee, SC, Harper and Heath Craig of Gastonia, NC.
Per Deborah's request, there will be no funeral services.
Donations in her memory can be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 205 Regency Executive Park Drive Suite 102 Charlotte, NC, 28217, as well as the Lupus Foundation of America, 2121 K Street NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC, 20037.
