Deborah Kay Warning, age 71, of Knoxville, Tn passed away on March 19, 2025. Debbie was born on July 31st 1953 in St. Charles, Il. She went to, and graduated from St. Charles High school in 1971. She moved to New Smyrna Beach, Fl in 1989. Debbie, along with her best friend Denise Johns, started Operation Protect a Kid. She then volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem which transitioned her into her 20 year career as Victim Advocate with the New Smyrna Beach Police Department. She was a strong believer in Jesus, and is with Him now. Debbie is preceded in death by her son David, her father Carl, her mother Dorothy, and her stepmother, Sharon. She is survived by her daughter, Megan B. (Kevin), Alexa and Reese; son, Chip W. (Melissa), Wyatt and Lydia; sister, Pam S. and brother, Bob B. (Laurie); sister, Laura B. (Phil); brother, Dan O. (Holly); sister, Sue K., and sister Michelle R. There will be no service at Debbie's request. The family will hold a small private gathering. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Haven House (Alcoa) at havenhousetn.org
