Obituary of Wayne Warning
John Wayne Warning, 59, of Independence, passed away unexpectedly on October 29, 2024. Born on January 12, 1965 in Covington, he was the son of Robert Warning and Patricia [Peck] Warning.
Wayne studied biomechanical engineering, graduating from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. He worked as an X-Ray Technician, maintaining a variety of imaging machines for companies such as FujiFilm North America and Philips Healthcare. Wayne possessed manual dexterity and the ability to think in a non-linear fashion-seeing the pieces of something and identifying what was missing. But he was likewise also patient, observant, and visionary in nature-having the expertise to see the entire picture. He would dismantle and rebuild things just to understand how they worked.
Wayne was lucky and he also loved to play card games. He taught his kids euchre, poker and a variety of others. Thinking they would surprise him; the kids would bring home a new game to share only to find that he had already mastered it years ago. In his younger years, he played golf with his friends frequently. Wayne loved music, in particular bands like Rush, Def Leppard and The Who. He cheered on his favorite sports teams the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals and was a big Nascar fan. Wayne adored the Avengers and Iron Man movie franchises, especially if he could watch these favorite flicks in the best company-with his family.
Wayne was the beloved dad of Nolan Warning, Ellen Warning, Meg Warning, and Natalie Warning; dear brother to Steve (Patti) Warning and treasured uncle to Joey Warning, Jessica St. Clair, Ashley Warning, Alex Warning, Lexi Warning and Darci Warning.
Services to honor Wayne will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
