Deborah "Deb" or "Debbie" Capello Westcoat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother,greatgrandmother and sister. She passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness on February 1, 2026, at the age of 75. Deb was born and raised in Seekonk, Massachusetts. At 19, she made Taunton her home, where she lived for the rest of her life. She was a longtime employee of AT&T and later retired from Owens & Minor. Deb will be remembered as a loving and devoted woman who always put her family first. Deb cherished her retirement, when she could spend more time with family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Westcoat. She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Marvel and her husband Eddie Sabino, Keri Perkins, and Katie Turcotte. She also leaves behind her eight grandchildren: Alexis Marvel and her husband Daniel Ahern, and their son Seamus Ahern; Carlton Perkins; Emily Turcotte; Nicholas Marvel; Gabrielle Turcotte and her fiancé Shane Keane; Jeromy Turcotte; Nathan Turcotte; and Alanya Cassinelli. She was predeceased by her parents, Manuel Capello and Mary Lorenzo, and her stepmother, Dorothy Capello. She is also survived by her siblings: Brenda Crandall and her husband James Crandall; the late Robert Capello and his wife Louise Capello; Manuel Capello and his wife Margaret Capello; Peter Capello; Mary Westcoat and her late husband Pete Westcoat; and Arthur Capello and his wife Linda Capello, Raymond Capello and his wife Joyce. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. She also leaves behind her BFF, Freddie. Funeral home visiting hours will be held at the O'Keefe Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Friday, February 6th from 5-7 pm. A funeral home service will be held on Saturday at 11:30 am with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Deb's memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
