Deborah Lea Williams, age 76, died Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Farwell. She was born May 27, 1949 in Clovis, New Mexico to Charles Jefferson and May Lea (Morse) Williams.

Deborah grew up in Grady, New Mexico, and graduated in 1967. She then attended Eastern New Mexico University, where she obtained her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in accounting. While in school, Deborah loved basketball, volleyball and softball. She was very creative and loved to do arts and crafts. Deborah was an avid quilter as well. She enjoyed listening to Toby Keith and K-Love. She was considered the snack queen, loving all kinds of seeds, chex mix and more. Deborah loved following her grands around and watching their sporting events. She was a member of Calvary Chapel Church in Clovis. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, David Williams and his wife, Connie.

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Amanda Mitchell and her husband, Dave of Farwell, Texas; a brother, Jim Williams and his wife DeDe of Northrop, Colorado; her cherished grandchildren, Lydia Mitchell and Danny Galvan of Bovina, Texas, John Mitchell and his wife, Lauryn of Lubbock, Texas and Luke Mitchell of Farwell, Texas; and two great-grandsons, Hudson Mitchell of Lubbock, Texas and DJ. Galvan of Bovina, Texas; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Clovis Meals on Wheels, 1200 North Thornton, Clovis, New Mexico, 88101.
