Debra Sue Beckman, age 67, of Reading, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025, at her home. She was born July 20, 1958, in Hillsdale, the daughter of Donald and Francis (Schmitz) Boyd. She married Ray Beckman on November 1, 2019, and he survives.

Debbie graduated from Reading High School, Class of 1976. She enjoyed spending time fishing, playing card games with family, and caring for her two loyal dogs. Nothing brought Debbie more joy than her grandchildren. She could always be found in the bleachers or audience cheering them on at their sporting events and school programs.

Surviving besides her husband, Ray is her children, Derek (Katie) Garcia of Litchfield, Jennifer (Jason) Blonde of Litchfield, Sarah (Tony) Baker of Jonesville, Matt Beckman of Jonesville and Andrew (Jessica) Beckman of Quincy; grandchildren, Kenni and Hatti Garcia, Morgan and Maddy Blonde, Tayler Hassenzahl, Ava and Conner Arsenault and Brooks and Learia Beckman; great-granddaughter, Macie McKean; and two sisters, Nancy Molinaro and Luetta (Tom) Richards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Francis Boyd; and husband, Fred Rigney.

A memorial visitation for Debra Beckman will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with a brief time of sharing beginning at 6:30 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family or to June's Place.
