Debra A. Bunn

Debra Anne Bunn (McKean), 67, passed away in her home on Saturday April 13th, 2024.
Debra was born on July 3rd, 1956 in Cobleskill and spent her childhood with her family in Dorloo, NY. She was a graduate of Cobleskill High School. After high school, Debra found a job at Bassett Hospital and worked there for the next 44 years until she retired on December 28th, 2018. In 1982 she met her future husband, Terry and they married on June 9th, 1984.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Terry A. Bunn and her two sons Travis and Carter. Debra is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Debra was predeceased by her parents, Harland and Georgeanna McKean of Dorloo, NY.
Debra loved crafts and over the last few years found joy in sewing. She loved to make blankets for her family and friends. On Friday and Sundays, you could find Debra behind the counter at the Milford Fish and Game club. She was a lifetime member and loved helping out in the kitchen or working at the window to sign folks up for trap shoots, especially the kids. She also spent her spare time volunteering at the Hartwick Fire Department Company #2.
She will be remembered by all for her selflessness and pleasant personality. She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family. It was her wish that any donation be sent to the Milford Fish and Game club or to support the wonderful ladies of the Hartwick Fire Department Company #2. A graveside service will be held at Dorloo cemetery on June 1st, 2024 at 1 PM EST.
Arrangements are under the care of Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley, NY with cremation taking place at The Leatherstocking Crematory, Cherry Valley.
